Abstract:
“According to Robert Cravotta, Technical Editor - EDN, in his article "Shedding light on embedded debugging", 9/4/2008 "For each year of Embedded Systems Design's annual market survey of embedded-system developers, the single most requested area of improvement for design activities is debugging tools. The percentage of respondents making this request has remained steady at around 32% throughout the three years of the survey."

We are now in 2011 and is the situation now better - or worse. Is the improvement in tools keeping pace with the increase in design complexity? “ In his address Mr Tanyeri will provide an insight into the role of debugging microprocessors, including examples and trends that will deliver ‘leading edge electronic systems for military and professional customers’, presenting a unique perspective on how the electronic design community is responding to the challenges of debugging.

Presenter(s):
As founder, director and CTO of Clarinox Technologies Pty Ltd, Gokhan Tanyeri has nearly 30 years experience in Embedded Systems Design across many industries including telecommunications and defense, and is considered a thought leader in the embedded systems and design sector.
