IEEE Photonics Seminar: Integrated Optofluidic Biosensors
December 5, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
IEEE Photonics Seminar: Integrated Optofluidic Biosensors will be presented by Distinguished Professor Arnan Mitchell from the Micro Nano Research Facility (MNRF), RMIT University. It is organised by IEEE Photonics Society Chapter Victoria and MNRF, RMIT University. This talk will an overview of the current state of the art of optofluidics – combining integrated photonic and complex microfluidics to achieve fully automated lab-on-a-chip and point of care biosensors. An introduction to the field will be presented along with the basic operating principles of some of the biosensors. Tuesday 5th December 2017, from 6:00 pm (refreshments) for a 6:30 – 7.30 pm talk at RMIT University, Building 80, Level 10, Room 17, 445 Swanston Street, Melbourne, Victoria 3001.
