IEEE Student Branch University of Melbourne is organizing a technical talk as a part of IEEE Student Branch Seminar Series on 30th June from 11 AM to 12 PM AEST. This talk will be delivered by Dr. Usman, senior lecturer at CIS-UniMelb who is currently leading a quantum computing research and education program. Upon briefing on the basics of quantum computing, the speaker aims to provide an overview of the potential capabilities of a quantum computer for solving practical problems and conclude with the recent cutting-edge research in this field.
